Program Highlights

The inaugural event will include a keynote address by Charlie Gasparino, senior correspondent for Fox Business Network and best-selling author, followed by 4 main components: a showcase, reverse pitch, discussion forums, and networking opportunities.

During the Showcase, a select group of the most innovative investigators, start-ups, and midsize companies will have the opportunity to pitch their innovations to a panel of seasoned investors and successful innovators. Presenters will give a presentation followed by a moderated Q&A session with a panel of seasoned strategists, investors, and urology researchers. The Showcase provides the space for entrepreneurs to share their innovations with the perfect audience, get feedback, and make the connections needed to accelerate funding and commercialization. The Showcase will be moderated by Charlie Gasparino and feature panelists Amarpreet S. Sawhney, PhD, CEO of Instylla, Rejoni and Pramand; Kevin Slawin, MD, founder and managing partner of Rapha Capital Management; and Jennie Xue, managing director of Guggenheim Securities.

The Reverse Pitch allows established players in urology discovery to share where their interests lie, what they hope to invest in, and the unanswered questions they are interested in exploring. This unique format gives strategists, venture capitalists, and key investors the opportunity to explain the real-world business challenges they would like to see addressed and the kinds of problems they are interested in collaborating to solve. The reverse pitches will be moderated by Jennie Xue.

Our discussion forums will bring together key opinion leaders in urological discovery—from seasoned entrepreneurs and strategists to venture capitalists and investment bankers.
